In addition to serving on the LNVA Board as vice president, he also participates on the boards of the Greater Beaumont Chamber, Habitat for Humanity, and Better Business Bureau Serving Southeast Texas.
Through his role at Gulf Coast (a heavy civil / highway and bridge contractor, formerly APAC-Texas, Inc.), he is involved in many industry related trade associations (AGC, ABC, TXAPA, etc.) at both a local and statewide level.
Kal and his wife (Lisa) are lifelong residents of the Beaumont area, and have one daughter (Kara Michael) and one granddaughter.
